USAS-R v8.39.0 Release Notes

Summary

This release of USAS-R contains bug fixes and improvements and other changes as detailed in the release notes below.  Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and Classic USAS. 

Important Highlights

Bug Fixes

• A correction to the description for receipt code 3211.  The description was changed from "Disadvantaged Pupil Impact Aid" to "Poverty Based Assistance (formerly Disadvantaged Pupil Impact Aid)".

Improvements

• The readability of the audit report has been improved by changing the way Custom Fields are now displayed.  They will now display like regular fields on the report.

• We improved the performance of retrieving amounts related to budgeting transactions.  These improvements reduce the time it takes for the following reports to generate:

  • Certificate reports

  • Cash Account Summary

  • Budget Summary

  • Appropriation Summary

Patches

• A patch to clean up negative carryover encumbrances related to an old purchase order for a specific district.

Internal

• An issue to research and evaluate the tools we anticipate using to facilitate the document management and archival functionality being implemented later this year.
