Improvements

  • Shift the layout of the W2 Form template 0.0625 inches to the left from the right side of the layouts.

  • This is a minor change that adjusts the placement of the form border in relation to the perforation. The layout this year prior to this update was identical to prior years. There is no need to reprint any forms that have already been successfully printed.

  • While testing W2 Printing, it was observed that the boarder of the W2 could be cut off from the perforation.

Bugs

  • The W2 Archive Individual Forms process was recently updated to all the save and recall of the W2 Report parameters. When the parameters are applied, items that should have been ignored were being passed to the W2 Archive service. This would include, pay groups, employees, and city tax entity ids. This could cause the Archive process to filter results instead of including all result. These parameters that can be used for the W2 Report will now be ignored in the archival process.

  • If you have already run the W2 Archive Individual Forms process, you will want to verify that the expected number of forms were archived.

  • When generating the W2 City, RITA, or CCA submission files if an employee has zero tax withhold, taxable gross, and total gross on an applicable city, the employee is being added to the submission with all zero values. This has been corrected and the RS record in the submission file will no longer be created for this scenario.

  • Fixed a bug where the appliedToBalance flag of an absence would not be set correctly on update in certain scenarios.

  • Fixed a bug where dock day calculations for multiple positions were not calculating correctly on the Pay Report.
