Summary
This release of the SSDT Inventory application contains the following improvements bug fixes as detailed below.
Improvements
DUO Security Integration has been implemented and is now available
- There are new properties that will need to be set in the environment in order to use Duo Security with the applications. Please see the Duo Security Integration Guide for more information. The documentation has been updated to specify the settings will be defined in the ssdt-inventory-app.properties file; Inventory does not use docker-compose.
- Note - if you host with the Management Council, there is a new VRA Service Broker 'Install DUO MFA' to help setup Duo Integration.
- A new flag was added to the User to determine if they should use "Two-Factor Authentication" when logging into the application.
- Implemented date range filtering in the various transaction grids (Inventory Items, Acquisitions, Transfers and Dispositions). Users can now filter between two dates using the '..' operator.
Bug Fixes
- The Edit and Delete buttons are now disabled for read-only users. Please be aware, read-only users were not able to edit or delete previously, but the buttons were enabled and therefore misleading.
