Job Calendar

The Job Calendar option allows users to view their USPS job calendar(s), or work schedule in ESS. The job calendar provides the work schedule, including all work days, holidays, calamity days, makeup days, and non-work days (blank days on the job calendar). For employees who have more than one position with the district, users can use the ‘Positions’ dropdown to select the appropriate position. Once a position is selected, the associated job calendar and calendar description will be displayed. The Job calendar is pulled from the position’s compensation first, and if not found, it will then pull from the pay group.
Positions: If the employee has several positions, they can select which USPS Job Calendar to display.
allows user to click forward and backward depending on the calendar view selected. The date picker allows the user to select a specific day.
will display the current date.
allows the user to pick from several calendar view formats. The default view is ‘Monthly Calendar’, but the user has the option to select a different view format (i.e. weekly, daily, etc).
The Job Calendar option may be removed from the menu by deselecting ‘job calendar’ from System>Configuration>ESS Functionality Configuration.
