This is the entry point to the Web-GAAP reporting system based on the GASB 34 reporting model. You can select the data files for an entity to which you have been granted access and for any of its fiscal years contained on the system. If the fiscal year drop down box is compressed, like the sample below, it means there is currently no fiscal year on the system. Clicking on it and entering the fiscal year to be opened will bring up the Open New Fiscal Year in GAAP Reporting System screen.

Field Definitions.

  • Home - Returns you to the Web-GAAP Main Menu which contains pointers to: Journal Entry, Reports, Setup, Admin and Select a Different Entity or Year.
  • Journal Entry - Takes you to the list of all Journals to allow you to select the appropriate journal.
  • Reports - Takes you to the list of all report options which include: Journal Entry Reports, Published Statements and Trial Balances.
  • Legacy Cash Reports - Takes you to the list of Legacy Cash Report options available.
  • Setup - Contains options to display, modify, and delete Fund Codes, Department Codes (for cities and counties) and Component Unit Codes. Contains basic information about the entity. Allows you to edit your user profile and change your password. And allows you to execute the program to upload the entity's cash activity for the fiscal year, the MD&A and the notes to the Financial Statements.
  • Admin - Takes you to a listing of Application Administrator Options, Database/Server Administrator Options and information about the server. (Only available for authorized users.)
  • Logout will allow you to exit from the current entity.


Select the Entity Year

Use the down arrow key and click on the desired entity/year combination you wish to use. Then click on the Select key to bring up the GAAP Main Menu.

To go to the Web-GAAP Main Menu, click on the Home link.
