FTP Tips

You more than likely will need to use an FTP utility at some point to transfer file(s) to/from EMISFFE. Which FTP utility is used to handle this is the users choice. FileZilla happens to be a free FTP utility that is very easy to use and works very well.

• The SEQ files must be transferred in ASCII mode

• Do not delete trailing spaces

  • The Reflections FTP utility by default deletes trailing spaces from files when they are transferred in ASCII mode. There is a checkbox in Reflections FTP settings that needs to be unchecked to prevent this from happening.
