Important Highlights
Improvements
Updates to the following files to implement valid AOS dimensions for FY 2026
Fund codes
Function codes
Receipt codes
Object codes
Implemented Subject code changes per DEW/EMIS manual
Implemented change to maximum allowed value for square footage per DEW/EMIS
Implemented general fund (001) SCC restrictions per AOS
AOS has decided to restrict the use of the following range of Special Cost Centers (SCCs) with regard to the general fund (001) only: 900X - 999Y. This means that any cash account with fund 001 and a SCC that starts with a 9 and ends in X, Y or Z are now reserved by AOS and should not be used at the district unless AOS or DEW instructs the use.
To assist districts with use, we have implemented a validation when creating an account with one of the restricted SCCs. Users will need to confirm account creation if the fund is 001 and the SCC falls in the specified range. The validation states: SCCs that start with a 9 and end in X, Y or Z are restricted by AOS/DEW, do you want to continue?
Likewise, if users attempt to create an account using a restricted SCC and any fund other than 001, they will get an error that states: Unable to create cash account for fund (display fund value). SCCs in the range of 900X - 999Z are restricted to the 001 General Fund per AOS/DEW.
