Important Highlights
Improvements
Implemented changes to the Five Year Forecast as directed by the state of Ohio per HB 96 (the budget bill)
What can you expect to see?
The Five Year Forecast option in USAS has been renamed to Financial Forecast. The Financial Forecast is still under the Periodic menu. Please be aware, the EMIS guide refers to the Five Year Forecast as “Budget and Three Year Forecast”.
Forecast Line Number 1.050 has a new description: State Reimbursement for Property Tax Credits
The EXCEL version of the forecast spreadsheet has a variety of changes
The INFO tab has been updated to reflect recent changes
The PARAMETERS tab has been updated to include the District IRN
The tabs with forecasted data have been updated to remove the additional year(s)
A new read only tab named “Output” can be saved in CSV format and this file is to be used to upload into the data collector once the collection period opens. Please be aware, the Five Year Forecast in EMISFFE is obsolete and should not be used. The process is now a direct upload into the EMIS-R data collector using this new CSV file.
Please note, the new file cannot be uploaded into the data collector for 26P prior to Sep 1, 2025 at 12:01am. For those still needing to submit for 25P (optional) they will need to use the old format Five Year Forecast spreadsheet which will no longer be available in the software with this release.
Updated the destination for the audit bundles to send to the MCOECN sftp server like Inventory does, per auditor request.
Increased the size of the AR Email Template email body to 3000 characters
