USAS v2026.2.0 Release Notes

Summary

This release of USAS-R contains the following improvements detailed in the release notes below.  Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and Classic USAS. 

Important Highlights

New Feature

• Mass importing Account Change Requests is available via the Import button on the Account Change grid. This import option accepts a CSV file and will allow you to mass load account change requests. If the new account (to account) does not exist, it will be created. The CSV file contains 4 fields and no special formatting is required:

  • from account (must exist, include dashes between dimensions)

  • to account (if it does not exist will be created, include dashes between dimensions)

  • account type (revenue or expenditure)

  • fiscal year (4 digits), if blank will default to the current fiscal year

Improvements

• Any account change that was in progress will be reset to a NEW status when the application is restarted

• The Failed Attempt field on the User record is now located under the Controls group

Bug Fixes

• Corrected a problem viewing files in document store that were generated in classic usas

• Corrected account change to properly cope with account dimension start/stop dates

• Updated refund AL ledgers to include the check number. This fix also patches existing data to ensure the refund ledger includes the associated check number.
