USAS v8.72.0 Release Notes

Summary

This release of USAS-R contains performance improvements and bug fixes as detailed in the release notes below.  Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and Classic USAS.

Bug Fixes

• Implemented missing annotations on methods that were causing connect leaks which contributed to performance problems.  Performance related improvements should be noticeable on reports based on the Activity Ledger.

• Corrected control breaking options on the canned Account Activity Reports to allow users to apply the same sort and subtotal options allowable on the Budget and Revenue Account Activity template reports.  This will allow users to modify the default sort options to generate reports based on the various account code dimensions, 1 and 2 digit object and function codes and FF Line Number.  The canned report will also now include the additional account dimension fields as columns on the Excel and CSV report format options like is available on the template reports.  Users should be encouraged to use the canned version of reports whenever possible.
