Summary
This release of USAS-R contains bug fixes and improvements as detailed in the release notes below. Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release. There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes. General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation. There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and Classic USAS.
Important Highlights
Bug Fixes
Corrected the closing of the posting period to only display the message that the fiscal year is closing when June is the month being closed.
Corrected the method that checks to make sure all amounts on an account are zero to include all applicable amounts.
Improvements
Added the following new receipt codes per ODE:
3215 Career Technical Education
3216 Gifted Education
3217 English Learner Funding
3218 Student Wellness and Success Funding
The above receipt code updates will be available in Classic early next week.
Modified the description on receipt code 3211 per ODE from Poverty Based Assistance (old) to Disadvantaged Pupil Impact Aid (new)
Continued work on the vendor merge option. This feature is not yet available in the UI.
Updated the use of the account filter user parameter when running template reports to take the input and attempt to search for all possible values regardless of case. If more than one filter is found, a message will be displayed to the user listing the values found and the user can reenter the filter they intended to use. If only one matching filter is found the template report will generate.
Workflows
The Workflows Admin View has been updated to remove the required date format hint from the date column.
Note: Please be aware, the patch to update the fund type on all 200 funds has been delayed. We need to release the Classic and Redesign changes simultaneously to prevent import problems. We anticipate releasing these updates in October.
