USAS-R v8.28.0 Release Notes

Summary

This release of USAS-R contains bug fixes and improvements as detailed in the release notes below.  Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and Classic USAS. 

Important Highlights

Bug Fixes

• The Account Status report has been updated to show the correct value for invoice number.  Previously the report displayed the invoice transaction number as the invoice number which is not the value assigned by the user when the invoice is created, but a system assigned number.

• A bug that would result in a 404 error when a user would log in with the correct credentials after a failed login attempt.

Improvements

• Account Status report

  • PO charges are now being included on the report.

  • The ability to apply an account filter has been added to the user parameters.  Please note: if a user has an account filter the drop down will display that filter as being pre-selected and the drop down will be disabled so the user will not be able to change it.  This behavior will be improved on a subsequent release, but was put in place temporarily to enforce account filters for this report.

• Account Filters

  • The ability to mark an account filter as inactive has been implemented. 

    • Please be aware of the following:

      • if an account filter has been marked as inactive and it's still assigned to a user account, the user will not have access to any accounts.  Please add the "Filters Name" to the user grid and filter the grid to see if the account filter is being used prior to marking it inactive.

      • if an account filter is inactive and it's used in a report save set or is part of a report contained in a report bundle, the report will generate but it will be blank.  We do not have a way to determine if a filter is being used in a report bundle or saveset.

  • The ability to clone an account filter has been implemented.

• Audit Report: a new and improved canned version of the Audit Report is available from the Report menu.  We have some additional performance improvements to make, so please instruct users to limit the report by dates as much as possible and by user if possible to prevent long running reports.  Stop and start dates are required when running this report.

• Workflow related changes

  • The creation of an admin view is now available.  This will 

  • The ability for the bypass user to recall requisitions has been implemented.  The requisitioner and bypass user are the only users that can recall a requisition that has been submitted into the workflow process.

  • Quick entry options have been made available when rejecting requisitions.  The following buttons have been added to the Reject Requisition UI with a large text area to include an additional "Reason" if desired.
