USAS-R v8.56.0 Release Notes

Summary

This release of USAS-R contains a patch as detailed in the release notes below.  Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and Classic USAS. 

Important Highlights

Improvements

• 1099 UI Improvements

  • Separate print files will generate for MISC and NEC if both types are selected when generating the Printer/Sealer format.  If a type is selected but there are no 1099s of that type, two files will still be generated and the file will state "No Results".

  • When processing Submission Type "Correction" a new boolean named "Incorrect or missing PAYEE information" will appear.  When this new field is selected, the generated file will fill all amount fields with 0.00 to assist with creating corrected 1099s to submit.

  • Forced all values on generated 1099s to be in all capital letters regardless of how they are entered in the application.

  • Reformatted the 1099 print forms to allow for more space for the return address fields

  • Limit the PAYER's address to only accept 45 characters per line (so the data fits in the allowable space on the printed documents)

  • Renamed Generate Submission File button to Generate

Internal

• Created a service layer for Building Profiles.

• Created a service layer for Activity Ledger.
