USAS-R v7.9.0-11 Release Notes

Summary

This is the tenth production release of the USAS Redesign software.  This release contains various bug fixes, new features and report improvements.

Important Highlights

1. Performance improvements to the PO grid.

2. We've implemented Classic's SaveSet.  You can save query parameters and run them in subsequent report generations.  The report generation popup will also remember the last set of parameters you entered when you last ran the report.

3. We've added the ability to restrict requisition users to seeing requisitions with specified prefixes.

4. The Adds/Deducts(Legacy) option has been replaced.  You can now post additions and deductions directly from the account UI via the Transactions button.

5. A new configuration option has been added to allow the end user to specify the highest transaction number for each of the transaction types.  This will allow the user to specify the highest number used instead of the system using the hightest number retrieved from the database.  This will be helpful in eliminating gaps in transaction numbers.

6. Users can now sort and delete items from the Proposed Amount grid.  The amounts are now listed in order by account code.

7. Recreated Classic's CHEKPY Detail report; does not include summary of checks at bottom of report.

8. The PDF Inline report format option has been removed and template reports updated.

9. Rules have been added to warn or prevent the creation of hierarchical accounts.

10. Corrected a problem with inserting items on Requisitions.

11. Updated the Purchase Order Detail Report to include the canceled date for items that have been canceled.

12. Account Change has been temporarily removed from the menu.

13. Corrected a problem with SCView's ability to perform check queries for a particular type of check and date range.

14. Added rules to prevent posting partial invoices after full invoices and to require only one full invoice item per purchase order item.

Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and classic USAS.

1. The GAAP export is available, but is not excluding accounts with all zero amounts like Classic's export did.

The Expense/Receipt worksheets, while they provide 3 years of history, those amounts are not currently being subtotaled by control breaks.  We've created Jira issue https://mcoecn.atlassian.net/browse/USASR-3275 to allow those amounts to be subtotaled.  This issue will also allow the data to display in separate columns if included on the budgeting spreadsheets via the Budget Scenarios.

Upcoming Features

3. Creating new buttons in the UI to allow users to click the Save button and also close the window or create a new transaction in one step.
