Important highlights from this release
Upgrade Dependency for Duo SDK to 1.3.1.
Fix: Resolved an issue with W-2 reporting that could cause control number to be skipped.
If an employee had a pay item withheld during the calendar year that was later adjusted down to zero withholding, that pay item was still being included in the logic used to determine how many overflow W-2s an employee could receive.
Because these zero-amount items were included in the calculation, a control number could be skipped (for example, control number 199 followed by 201).
SSDT has verified that this issue does not result in missing Employee W-2s. All W-2s are printed as expected based on the selected parameters; only the control number sequencing is affected.
If you have already generated or printed W-2’s, no reprint is required.
