Summary
This release of USPS-R contains several improvements, new features and bug fixes.Â
Please Note:Â
This release of USPS-R contains a correction for an issue that could have potentially affected the year to date taxable gross figures pulled from historical data. If a user paid an employee in USPS-R prior to this release being installed and their pay included supplemental wages taxed using one of the two supplemental tax options the withholding was correct, but the applicable gross written to history was not. If you are processing live in USPS-R, you DO NOT plan to perform another import from classic and have also paid wages taxed using one of the supplemental tax options it is likely you will need to enter an adjustment journal entry to correct your historical applicable gross. If you or one of your customers meets this criteria you can contact the SSDT using ssdt-feedback@nwoca.org. We will help you to determine if you were affected, if a correction is required and will help you determine what the adjustment amount should be.Â
Important highlights from this release
The "Leave Balance Report" has been added. This is a new report that mimics the functionality of the classic BENRPT
It is now possible to use the custom report creator to navigate from the HistoricalPayrollItem object to HistoricalEmployeePay. This makes supporting things like the classic common remitter reports possible.
A problem with the applicable gross being written incorrectly to the history has been corrected as described in the summary section above.
