Compensations - Remove auto calculating pay per period and unit amount
The manual override flags are being removed and pay per period and unit amount will no longer recalculate if not using the overrides.
The system will still calculate these values for the user, using the new calculate button that was added to the Compensation view.
The work days property has been updated to be a user entered value. This property can still calculate from the job calendars if desired.Â
This should make compensation maintenance much easier will less side effects.
i.e. Before this change adding a day to the job calendar could cause ALL compensations of that calendar to recalculate.
Remove the override flags from the Employee Onboarding user interface
At startup, the system will look at each compensation that is NOT using manual overrides and 'lock in' the pay per period and unit amount. Once this is completed all unit amounts and pay per periods will behave the same in the redesign system and no longer auto calculate.
