USPS-R 5.14.1 Release Notes

Summary

This is a hotifx release of USPS-R, which includes a patch for the Benefit Obligation Report. This patch corrects minor discrepancies in the obligation by account report calculations. 

This hotfix also includes the addition of an outstanding payables adjustment user interface, which is now a tab of the outstanding payables screen. This user interface is being provided as a work around for an issue detected with the refund of deduction process. When creating a refund of deduction the application is not automatically posting an offsetting transaction to outstanding payables. We are working to correct the underlying issue, but that fix has a fairly large potential impact on the application. As a result we are providing this new interface as a work around until we can complete and fully test the actual refund of deduction update. 

Please note: you will see existing adjustments in this new UI that cannot be modified or deleted. These adjustments were created by the import process and represent the values that existed on the classic records when the import was completed. Any new adjustment manually added by the user will be able to be modified and deleted through the screen.

In addition to allowing the user to post adjustments as a work around for the refund of deduction issue; this user interface also allows the user to manually adjust outstanding payables in general. There are edge cases such as getting money back from a deduction company etc. that may warrant this.
