Important highlights from this release
The compensations view has been refactored to add tabs specific to contract and non-contract compensations.Â
This will allow the user to add properties specific to those compensation types to the type specific grids
Since the "All Compensations" tab (the only view previously available) can only list properties shared by all compensation types previous to this change users could not add certain important properties directly to the grid.
The payroll item view has been improved to allow for similar functionality as compensations, however due to the large number of payroll item types tabs would not be feasible. Therefor the payroll item view now has a select box, which allows the user to load a grid containing only specific payroll item types.
When the user re-enters the view it will always default to showing all payroll items. We believe this was the best choice, so users are not confused when entering if only a subset of the payroll items are displayed.Â
Future pay amounts now has a new "save and create new" option, which should assist with data entry when users are entering multiple future pay amounts for the same employee.Â
This should prove useful in situations such as manual time sheet entry.
