Important Information about 7.0.0
The 7.0.0 release of USPS will run 3 different patches at start up.
The first patch will remove an invalid funding source data from Position records.
The second patch will migrate all employee photo custom fields to a new database structure.
All employee photo custom fields will be removed.
Employee photo custom field definition will be disabled.
This patch will fail silently on error. Please see logs to verify the patch applied correctly.
The final patch will add a new property to historical employee pay and historical payroll item named imported.
This patch will prevent startup on error.
These patches will take time to apply. Large districts could see a delay in start up time up to 1 hour.
When scheduling the installation USPS 7.0.0, it is recommended that you create a backup of the database prior to installation. If you run into any problems installing 7.0.0 please contact SSDT through the service desk.
