Summary
This is the fifth hotfix release for version 7.14. This hotfix corrects a problem with the vendor name on the 1099 report and extracts. The name being used was the primary name, not the name specified in the 1099 location. We have corrected the report and extracts to use the 1099 location name1 and name2 fields if defined.
We also modified the column and subtotal heading on the report to read Vendor Taxable YTD Amount. This was the amount on the report, but the heading previously indicated Vendor YTD Amount. Â
Note
If districts want their 1099s printed in alphabetical order, when printing the 1099s through third party software, you'll want to choose to sort by name for Redesign districts. This is because the report and extracts are still sorted by primary name even though it's displaying the correct 1099 name. If you do this, the order the 1099s will print in will NOT match the order on the report.
A hotfix or quick-fix is typically a single change that addresses a problem in the software.  Hotfixes are made to address a specific concern and provide a quick solution.
