Request to add option to include Future Expended to Remaining Balance Calculation

Description

Request to add an option to show Future Expended amount to Account UI for calculation of Remaining Balance (and reports) or not show negative future encumbrances from disbursements. In the case where a district has posted Disbursements in future months, the Future Encumbered will show a negative encumbrance (encumbrance reduced/expended for that future month increased).

Since the Future encumbrance is subtracted from the Unencumbered balance, a negative future enc will add to the remaining balance. Suggestion to account for Future Expended amounts to be able to counteract this impact.

May total including the amount for future disbursements makes it seem like there is a positive remaining balance.
