Once I understood this Jira Issue, thanks to Greg, It is working according to what he described to me.

After posting payroll, the option to Email Notices is there.

I had two employee's that I unmarked 'Email Direct Deposit notices' in their Employee screen. Ran payroll and posted it. Click on Email Notices and all employees except for my two, showed on the list to send. You had the option to change the date and time to send later.

I updated documentation in payroll Processing and also under Payroll Payments under Payments.

Oh, you're doing this from Payroll Payments view! That's different - my understanding is the only reason you would go in there to print is if you wanted to reprint someone's DDN. If you don't want a DDN printed, don't select it from the view. The issue was to change the "Process Payments" button from the Payroll Detail View - this is designed to print the whole payroll, except of course the emailed ones. I think we need to allow them to say "oh crap, so-and-so told me that they changed their email address and I've already sent them out. I'll just print that one and give it to them and fix it for next payroll." If we prevent them from ever printing a DDN that is set to be emailed, then they would have no way around it.

When "printing" direct deposit notices for a payroll using Process Payments button, it should now only print notices for employees who do NOT have 'Email Direct Deposit Notices' checked on the Employee.

Those will be emailed, and won't have a need of printing

Thanks,

Andrea
