USAS Integration

USAS Integration controls if and how the software is connected to the This option will allow the admin to test the connection between USPS-R and USAS-R system. .   To use this, the admin must first use the Module Configuration option to enter the configuration details for the USAS Module, and also enter the security key into the USPS Integration/Security Configuration option.

You will see the USAS Integration option in the main Menu:Image Removed

Test Connection

The USAS Integration Test Connection will allow you to test your connection with the USAS system you will want to click on Image Removed  A message will be displayed stating 'Account Synchronization request successfully sent to USAS'.

When this option is setup you will be able to post your payroll to USAS by choosing the correct file and then clicking on Image Removed

Select Test Connection 

Make any desired changes to the Remote Host, Remote Port, DNS Lookup and Click on Image Added

A summary will appear below stating whether the connection was refused or successful:

Click on Image Addedwill remove the summary below and a new test may take place.

Security Configuration

Generate API Key

This option allows the admin to configure a security key to allow USPS-R to communicate with USAS-R.  A similar configuration must be completed in the USAS-R system.

The USAS Integration Security Configuration screen:

This allows the admin to generate an Application Id and Api Key for USPS-R, which can then be entered into the USAS-R system.  The Remote Application Id and Remote API Key would be the USAS-R Id and Key.

1. From the USAS Integration menu select 'Security Configuration':

3. A confirmation box will be displayed, click on Image Addedto continue.
4. A new API Key will be generated, at this point the 'Remote Application ID' and 'Remote API Key' from the USAS-R system would be entered:

5. Click on Image Addedto keep the new information, click on Image Addedto not keep the information.

Disable Message Security

This option deletes the security key that was generated and will disable the communication between USPS-R and USAS-R.

1. From the USAS Integration menu select 'Security Configuration'.
2. Click on Image Added
3. A confirmation box will be displayed  click on Image Addedto delete the local security key.

USPS Module Configuration

1. From the System menu select 'Configuration'
2. Click on Image Addedbeside the USAS Configuration
3. Enter in the required information:

4. Click on Image Addedto keep the changes, click on Image Added to leave the configuration as is.
