Summary
This release of the SSDT Inventory application contains the following bug fixes and improvements as detailed below.
Bug Fixes
- Corrected the capitalization for items that had met both a the dollar limit and life limit when the capitalization status changed due to updating an acquisition.
- Updated the Fixed Asset By Source report to look for an item's original fund if the acquisition fund is blank. If the fund cannot be determined the item will be listed as having an INVALID fund on the report. To fix this the item can be edited and the account can be populated with the correct value.
- Corrected a problem with next FY depreciation. This impacts districts who have reset depreciation via the Depreciate button from Items grid. The current year LTD depreciation is correct but the next FY depreciation was calculating incorrectly. We also corrected a problem where depreciation was being calculated for items with a LTD of zero The UI appeared to set the flag properly but did not.
- Any district who had incorrect next year depreciation, if they closed the FY they will need to reopen and reclose the FY. To determine if there is a depreciation problem, run the Schedule of Change in Depreciation or the Book Value report after the FY was closed and review depreciation amountsitems with an incorrect capitalization flag can run the Capitalization Criteria option under the System menu to update their items.
