When submitted, it will note the group chain the leave request is tied to. When approved (or rejected), approver may optionally enter a comment which is noted in the approval trail.
If the submitted (initiated) leave request was edited, it will be noted in the approval trail as ‘cancelled’ and then re-submitted to the workflow (same timestamp).
If the group was edited (via Users>Group), it will be noted in the approval trail as ‘group edited’ and then re-submitted to the workflow (same timestamp)
If the group chain was edited (via Users>Group Chain), it will be noted in the approval trail as 'group chain edited' and then re-submitted to the workflow (same timestamp)
If the Leave Request was cancelled; it will be noted in the approval trail as ‘cancelled’ with any notes providedentered when cancelled.

Substitute Required
Substitute Required checkbox and other substitute related fields are editable from the leave request grid for those with Leave Manager, District Manager or Admin role . The ‘substitute needed’ field must be checked in order to edit the ‘substitute scheduled’ field. Unchecking the ‘substitute needed’ flag when the ‘substitute scheduled’ flag is checked will automatically uncheck the ‘substitute scheduled’ flag.

If an Absence Threshold(s) is set for the district, leave requests that have met the threshold value will be highlighted on the leave request grid:
INITATED leave requests will be highlighted red (pink)
