If the Agent can't connect to a zone, the problem can usually be categorized as a networking problem or a SIF infrastructure issue.

Network Errors

Network-related errors occur when the Agent cannot physically contact the zone integration server over the HTTP or HTTPS protocol. This usually occurs if you've typed in the zone URL incorrectly, the server is down, or HTTPS is not configured properly.

SIF Infrastructure Errors

SIF errors occur when the Agent successfully connects to the ZIS, but its registration and/or provisioning messages are rejected. The server will reply with a SIF_Ack acknowledgement, which contains an error category, code, and description.
