  • USPS-R 6.29.0 Release Notes
    • Bug Fixes
      • Correct error found in rounding employer fixed amounts for second pay to match Classic
      • Correct withholding when refunding an Annuity that should not withhold City Tax amounts
      • Fix the Member Deposits calculation for SERS Employees who have multiple position level employer pickup earnings
      • Add employer amounts to the HSA ACH even if the employee amounts are zero or less

      • W2 ITIN number updated to use all zeros for W2 submission file per IRS specifications
      • Add new COVID fields to the Redesign Importer
        • Prior to importing in redesign, please make sure you have the most recent version of the classic extract procedures. They have been updated to include the new covid fields.

  • USPS-R 6.29.1 Release Notes
    • Classic W2 Submission files all end in the file extension .SEQ
    • Redesign used the .SEQ extension, but multiple tax entities are requesting the file have the .txt extension
    • There are no changes being made to the submission files, just changing the extension 
    • This will prevent the users from having to change the extension before upload
    • If you have already created the submission files, there is no need to run them again. You can change the file extension from .SEQ to .txt
  • USPS-R 6.29.2 Release Notes
    • After working with CCA to test our W2 Submission layout, it was discovered that we need to update a few items.
    • This issue corrects the items CCA requires for tax year 2020 on the W2 submission.
    • If you have already created the CCA file for your district in redesign, you should regenerate the CCA submission.
  • USPS-R 6.30.0 Release Notes
    • Bug Fixes
      • Correct bug that was incorrectly adding employer pickup values to the history. These values were never used if the employee was not a pick up employee, but it was confusing to see the values in the payment grids.
    • Improvements
      • Improved the AFFORD report to use the determined date range for the employee in the Days and Month calculation
      • Allow Non-Taxable Reimbursement to be saved without applying to retirement
  • USPS-R 6.30.1 Release Notes
    • If the user entered a '-' character in the W2 Configuration Submitter EIN field AND the district was setup to submit for themselves, the dash was included in the RA record.
      • This will cause the file to be rejected.
    • Once this change is installed, the district can rerun the submission and it will correctly remove the '-' character in the RA record.

    • Correct the year ODJFS is saved to in the file archive
    • Correct internal error when processing Indiana W2 Submission file

    • Bug Fixes
      • Outstanding Payables -  Error during posting would prevent previous items posted from being reported to the archive
      • W2 Control number was skipping if employees have multiple pay items for the same configuration
      • W2 XML - City Tax Items are rarely excluded from the output file
        • Items ARE included in the submission and pdf reports
    • Improvements
      • Allow users with USPS_ADMIN_USER_PASSWORD user permission to change passwords in USPS
        • This was updated to be consistent with USAS
        • User will still need the USPS_ADMIN_USER_VIEW permission to view USPS Users
      • Update Attendance post to payroll to allow modification of pay amounts fields
