Releases Since Our Last Meeting (11/20/2018)
The benefit obligation reports have been updated to allow them to be ran "as of" a particular date. Typically this will be 6/30 of the prior fiscal year to support auditing requirements.
Two new canned reports have been added: Wage Obligation by Employee and Wage Obligation by Account. These reports can also be ran "as of" a particular date to support auditing requirements.Â
The W2 report now allows users to enter payroll items that will be displayed on box 14 of employees' W2s.
The district name will now appear in the upper left of the page header.
Mass load performance was significantly increased.
Foreign addresses were added to the W2 XML file.
Payroll items now show "to date" amounts on the payroll item detail screen.
The payroll unpost process now runs in batch.
Payroll post will now validate that direct deposit employees have what can reasonably be considered a valid direct deposit pay distribution in place.Â
Upcoming Scheduled Releases
USPS-R 5.21.1 Scheduled Issues (scheduled for release on 12/19/2018)
Includes the 2019 withholding table updates for Federal and Ohio.
Patches two issues detected internally by SSDT Q/A staff related to the 2018 W2 submission file.
After this release all known W2 related issues have been fixed and 2018 live W2 processing can commence. Â
If any further potential issues are detected they should be reported to the SSDT ASAP.
USPS-R 5.22.0 Scheduled Issues (scheduled for release on 01/02/2019)
A USPS-R W2CITY equivalent is included in this release.Â
Includes an SSDT template report that will support Infohio patron extracts.
Adds the ability to run W2 report for specific pay groups.
Adds the ability to run W2 report for errors only.
