USAS v2024.3.1 Hotfix Release Notes

Summary

This is the first hotfix release for version 2024.3.0.

Important Highlights

This hotfix corrects the follow problems with the 1099 correction procedures available in USAS.  Please be aware, the correction procedures available in the application prior to this release functioned properly.  This hotfix includes additional options for corrections.

1. Correction procedures were not previously available for districts whose ITC submits 1099 data on their behalf.  With this hotfix, both districts who submit themselves and ITCs who submit for their districts will have access to correction procedures for 1099s.

2. Allow the generation of the printer/sealer format for Type 2 Corrections if the ITC is submitting on behalf of the district.  Previously this option was only available if the district was submitting their own 1099 data.

Note:  The changes included in this hotfix did not require any updates to the ITC-M application.  At this time, all correction procedures are handled within USAS only, regardless of how the district is set up to submit.  If the district submits on their own behalf or the ITC submits for the district, all correction procedures are handled in the district's instance and nothing needs to be done inside of ITC-M for correction procedures.  However, the ITC-M application can be used to merge correction files if needed.
