District and Year Selection

When entering this application within the Grad module, the user will see their district selected and the default year assigned to Early Warning System. If a user has OEDS access roles assigned to them at multiple district IRNs, they can choose a different district. The school year selection can be changed regardless of what IRNs roles are assigned for. The district and year selected will determine what students are included in the summary screen and will determine the demographic and risk data that is carried forward on the various tabs and is displayed in the Selected Student For Early Warning shaded box. The user can further refine the data they see under Find/Export and the various selections there.

May select based on students with a Total At Risk in a range from 0 - 9. If a From value is entered with an empty To value, it will result in a single value find rather than a range. For example, if 3 is entered in From and To is left empty, it will find those students with a total risk of 3. The same is true if a To value is entered and From is left empty, it results in a single value find rather than a range.

SSID, Last name and First name are all hyperlinks that will go to the Student Detail tab for that student.

For the State/Local Attendance, State/Local Behavior, State/Local Course columns, the At Risk, On Track, and N/A values are hyperlinks that will take the user directly to detail data for the student as represented on various tabs. For example, clicking on a hyperlink in the State Attendance column will take the user to the Attendance tab of the student’s detail data. The local defined indicators in the columns that start with LD are not hyperlinked to any tab. The data uploaded within the configuration is the only data available for these.

The Risk Score column values are hyperlinks that will take the user directly to the Basic Risk tab of the student’s detail data. The hyperlinks in this column are column coded based on levels. The Ultra is red, High is orange, Medium is yellow and Low remains black.
