From the Students option of SCR you will be able to review information about all students that have been submitted to EMIS for the selected district and year.

Find/Export

Districts will have the ability to use various Find options.   Selections by name, SSID, and Gender are at the student level.  The user may select combinations of options.  If the Clear is not used, when the user returns to the same screen, their last used selection options will be populated as the default.  The Clear option may be used to reset the selections back to the default values.

The find by Claim Date Between requires a range of claim dates be entered.   If the To date is left blank, 6/30 of the school year selected will be used.

Claimed By My IRN check box allows a district to only display conflicts that were claimed by that district IRN.

The query box is collapsible using the icon in the lower left corner of the query box.  The icon acts as a toggle allowing the box to be collapsed and expanded as desired.

Columns in the grid whose headings are blue and contain  are sortable.  The column heading acts as a toggle allowing the data to be sorted in ascending or descending order by repeatedly clicking on the column heading.  The ability to sort by columns is only available when the Display Mode is set to Students.

Using the Clear link resets all of the query filters to their default values.

Export

Using the Export button, the user has the ability to export all data for the students included in the current Find selections. The data fields included in the export include all elements for a student including the conflict or mismatch detail. From the File Output Format drop down, select TAB delimited or comma separated (CSV) format.  The resulting output file may be saved and imported into a spreadsheet.  When importing a TAB delimited or CSV file into a spreadsheet, be certain to select the appropriate delimiter.

Summary Listing

SSID Detail

From the SCR summary screen, districts can also click on the SSID for a student as opposed to any conflict icon.

When choosing to click on the SSID, the detail information for the student is displayed.  All the details for the year selected are displayed in the single pop-up. The data submitted by a district is visible in this detail pop-up.  The records displayed in the lower section represent the records related to a students education.  These records contain data that would have been submitted on the Student Standing (FS) records in EMIS.

Students reported having an EMIS withdrawal reason of 81 will have an inactive status and will appear with the strike-through.  Other records may show with a strike through as well.  These would be records a district reports for a student and are deemed inactive when a replacement FS record for the student is detected.

If a district needs to submit a withdrawal reason of 81 for a detail record already displayed in the SCR module, it is critical the 81 record be reported with the same start date as the already existing record in SCR.   The update process will only identify these as being the same record to apply the 81 withdrawal if the start date on the newly reported record matches the existing record.

Inactive records will be included in the display, but have will have a strike-through on the data to represent such.

If in the future, the FS record gets reported again by the district, the status will be updated to active and the strike-through is removed.

Claimed Student

If a student has the person icon   in the 'Claims' column, this indicates that the student has been claimed by the selected district.  Clicking on the person icon will take the user to the claim details.

Clicking on the Return to Summary button will return the user to the SCR Student summary listing.
