Note: The Statement of Activities is the culminating report of the GAAP/GASB 34 reporting system. It enables the entity to display in a single statement expenses, program revenues (which are revenues provided externally and thereby reduce the net cost of an activity to the public), and general revenues. It shows to the entity a summary of expenses by activity and the sources of revenue. It also combines all governmental type funds into Governmental Activities and all enterprise type funds into Business-type Activities.
