The Calendar application is where Community School sponsors will be able to review and approve calendars for those Community Schools that they sponsor.  Community School users, who are not sponsors, will be able to view their calendar information and the approval status of their calendar.  Users can gain access to the Calendar application within ODDEX by using the Calendar application link on the navigation bar or by clicking on one of the blue hyperlinks within the landing page.  See Landing Page for details on its use.

Calendar Listing

Using the Agency and School Year drop-downs in the navigation bar, the user may filter the data shown in the listing. By default, the calendar data is sorted by School Year descending so that the most current year is shown at the top. The user may sort the list by clicking on any of the blue column headings. Calendars which still require review will have a Review button  in the left most column if the user is a sponsor for the community school.  Clicking the review button will take the user to a review form allowing them to approve or reject the calendar. Sponsors may have to review a calendar more than once in a school year, dependent on whether changes are made to the calendar mid-year.

Calendar Approval

Clicking on the Calendar icon  from the Calendar listing will bring up a popup window allowing for calendar approval. Clicking the Approve Calendar button will mark the calendar as being approved by the Sponsor. If the user does not wish to approve the calendar after viewing the data, simply closing the popup window using the X in the upper right hand corner of the popup window will cancel the approval.
