USAS-R v8.16.0 Release Notes

Summary

We have made some additional improvements to USAS-R with the release of version 8.16.0.  This release contains patch fixes and exciting new features as detailed in the release notes below.

1. Additional updates to the subject code file for FY21 per ODE.

2. Performance improvements to the grids 

   1. Improvements ranging from 5% -83%

   2. The most significant improvements are to the Payable and Account grids

3. Additional changes were implemented to properly handle merging vendors.  Note: we have one additional issue we need to complete before we can make this feature available in the UI.

4. Federal Assistance Detail was updated to auto populate the line number and include tooltips for the CFDA number and Grant Title.  Please note: tooltips are used to display informative text when users hover over an element on the page.  They cannot contain clickable links.  We have updated the user documentation to include clickable links to find the CFDA number and Grant Title information.

5. Created the Service Layer for AP Invoices

6. Corrected a bug that caused the recently modified requisition header date to revert when also copying items.

Important Highlights

Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and classic USAS.
