Saving a Transaction

For several of the modules in USXS-R, you have the ability to choose how the 'Save' button will function.  You can choose to "Create New" or "Close" the window by selecting the appropriate checkbox to the left of the 'Save' button.

  • 'Create New' will leave the window open and allow you to immediately create another transaction.  

  • 'Close' will close the window immediately after the transaction or record has been posted.

If neither checkbox is selected, the default behavior of the Save button is to keep the window open to review the transaction. 

Once they make a selection the system will remember this option and behave this way each time they enter that UI/interface.  Each UI/interface is remembered independently, so you can choose save and create new when processing receipts for example, but save and close in another interface.

Step-by-step guide

In order to keep a window open to create a subsequent transactions or records.

  1. Click on 'create' to create a new transaction or record

  2. Checkmark 'Create New'

  3. Enter the details of your transaction or record.

  4. Click on 'Save'.  The transaction or record will be posted and the window will remain open prompting you to create a new transaction or record

 

In order to close a window after a transaction or record

  1. Click on 'create' to create a new transaction or record

  2. Checkmark 'Close'

  3. Enter the details of your transaction or record.

  4. Click on 'Save'.  The transaction or record will be posted and the window will close automatically.
