USAS v2025.2.0 Release Notes

Summary

This release of USAS-R contains the following improvements detailed in the release notes below.  Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and Classic USAS. 

Important Highlights

Improvements

• Implemented the ability to import initial cash amounts via CSV. This feature is intended for districts starting up on State Software or converting to State Software. The new import option is available on the Cash account grid and requires the ADMIN role. This is a process that is intended to be completed by ITC staff, not district personnel. Additional documentation for this new feature will be available soon.

  • Once the accounts have been loaded, the UUID of the accounts can be exported from the cash account grid.

  • Import file fields: UUID, date, description, type and amount

    • required fields are UUID and amount

    • date will default to 7/1 of the current fiscal year if left blank

    • type will default to “initial” if left blank

    • description is not required
