Create Submission File

The Create Submission File option creates an extract file containing employee names and SSNs that can be uploaded to the Social Security Administration’s Business Services Online using their Social Security Number Verification Service option. The submission file will be generated for all non-archived employees. The Social Security Administration compares the information in this W2SSNVerifcation extract file to the information they have on file. Any discrepancies are sent back in a results file.
