USAS-R v8.20.0 Release Notes

Summary

We have made some additional improvements to USAS-R with the release of version 8.20.0.  This release contains exciting new features, improvements and bug fixes as detailed in the release notes below.

1. The ability to include attachments has been added to the Requisition.  This enhancement was completed in preparation for the requisition workflow that will be available later this fall.  You'll find the attachment grid just below the items grid.  To add an attachment you'll simply click on the "+ Add files" button.  If you attempt to add a file that is already attached, a confirmation box will appear notifying you that if you continue you will override the existing file.  You can also delete attachments if needed.  User documentation will be available for this feature soon!

2. Corrected a problem with the Account Change process that caused an account change to fail, causing some accounts to not update properly.  This particular problem was specific to a single district.

3. Corrected a problem that prevented the ACH Active field from properly initializing when a new vendor is created.  By default the value is false unless ACH is enabled.

4. Improved the Customer Statement to include all activity for the period the report is generated before.  Previously the statement did not include credits.  Users will notice the grid rows on the report are larger than they were previously.  An issue has been created to fix the additional spacing on the report and will be available on the next release (8.21.0).

5. Created the Appropriation Resolution Recap report.  This report will be generated along with the Appropriation Resolution and will be separated by page break.  The recap report can be summarized by fund (default) or fund/scc.  If you chose to summarize by fund/scc you simply need to uncheck the Summarize by Fund checkbox.

6. The Accounts Receivable report has been updated to correctly report Governmental Fund types, previously the report included invoices that were still outstanding.  We also corrected a problem that prevented the report from generating if a fund type was not selected.

7. Created Service Layer for OPUs.

8. Created Service Layer for Organization.

9. Created Service Layer for Delivery Addresses.

Important Highlights

Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and classic USAS.
