USAS-R v8.32.0 Release Notes

Summary

This release of USAS-R contains bug fixes and improvements as detailed in the release notes below.  Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and Classic USAS. 

Important Highlights

Bug Fixes

• Corrected a problem with the account filters that would prevent reports from generating with an empty account filter on subsequent report generation attempts.

Improvements

• Created a general purpose mapping utility to be used with the proration utility to post purchase orders.  The UI for this feature is not yet available.

• Added the ability to generate the proration utility spreadsheet by appropriation.  Currently it only generates using expenditure accounts, which will remain the default.

• Disabled local user authentication if ADS is configured and the user account is updated to use external authentication.

• Continued work on service layer objects.

• Organized Liquibase change logs.

Workflows 

• Corrected a problem that prevented account code changes from saving during the workflow process.

• Corrected a problem that prevented read only and requisition only users from approving requisitions.  The approve and reject buttons were visible but did not do anything when selected.

Note:  Please be aware, the patch to update the fund type on all 200 funds will be completed in early December as we anticipate releasing these changes to coincide with the full Classic release.
