USAS-R v8.29.0 Release Notes

Summary

This release of USAS-R contains bug fixes and improvements as detailed in the release notes below.  Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and Classic USAS. 

Important Highlights

Bug Fixes

• The Job Scheduler has been corrected to prevent it from running the clean up job while an import is in progress.

• The as of period option on the Financial Detail Report has been corrected.

Improvements

• Account Status Report: user parameters have been added to allow for additional filtering by accounts. 

  • Users can now include cash account(s), include or exclude full account code(s), and the missing account code dimensions have also been added. 

  • The save and recall option has been added.

  • The ability to specify fields to sort and subtotal on have also been added.

• Account Filters: the ability to insert a row into an account filter has been implemented.

Workflows (Workflows 0.3.0-beta Release Notes)

• A caption has been added to the Workflows Admin view to specify the format of the due date.  The date must be entered in the following format: MM/dd/yyyy.

• A problem was corrected in the Requisition Approval audit trail that prevented updating when the status was changed.

Note:  Please be aware, the patch to update the fund type on all 200 funds has been delayed.  We need to release the Classic and Redesign changes simultaneously to prevent import problems.  We anticipate releasing these updates with the 8.31.0 release in early October.
