USAS-R v8.26.0 Release Notes

Summary

This release of USAS-R contains exciting new features, but fixes and improvements as detailed in the release notes below.

1. The 584 fund has been updated to use the new description per the Auditor of State's office.  The fund's default description has been changed from "DRUG FREE SCHOOL GRANT FUND" to "TITLE IV, PART A, STUDENT SUPPORT AND ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT".

2. The ability to modify and delete Refunds without checks has been implemented.  

3. The initial version of the new canned Audit report is available via the Report menu.  This initial release is ahead of schedule and currently offers the ability to run an audit report on the Purchase Order and Invoice objects only.  The remaining objects and additional changes will be completed with the 8.27.0 release.

4. The Outstanding Purchase Order Detail report has been updated to exclude system adjustment charges posted as a result of the account change process. 

5. Patch to correct a problem with an account change.  This patch impacts a single district and corrects a purchase order item.

6. Patch to correct archived carryover amounts.  Previously carryover amounts for archived fiscal years were displaying as 0.00.  With this patch those archived fiscal year carryover amounts are now available.

7. Corrected the accounts being provided by default when repaying an advance.  Also updated the account drop down to properly order the accounts available to use when repaying advances.

8. Various issues related to the upcoming Workflows project are included in this release.  The beta release of the Workflows project will be announced soon.  SSDT will send out an email regarding the Beta phase of testing this newest feature, which will include workflows for the requisition approval process.  This will be a closed beta, so if you're interested in participating keep an eye out for the email announcement.  SSDT will be working with interested ITCs/districts.

Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and classic USAS.
