Summary
This release of the SSDT Inventory application contains the following bug fixes and improvements as detailed below.
Improvements
The GAAP flag in the Core→Configuration view can now be enabled and disabled by Admin users only. When the GAAP flag is enabled, the beginning balances will be set based on the prior fiscal year's transactions. It will also generate a summary report of beginning balances by fund, function/activity, and asset class. This flag is typically set after importing inventory data. When the GAAP flag is enabled the GAAP Reports, which are available from the Reports menu, will be available to generate. When GAAP is enabled, certain fields are required and are indicated in the Items user documentation.
A "Test Connection" option was added to the Pending Items Pull From USAS view. The Test Connection button should properly notify the user whether or not they are connected to USAS. A date does not need to be entered in order to use this feature.
User will see "Successfully connected to USAS" if the test connection is successful.
User will see "Unable to connect to USAS" if the test connection failed. There will be a button available to "Show Stack Trace". This information will be needed by SSDT if a support ticket is created for assistance.
Bug Fixes
The migration importers (Acquisition, Transfer and Disposition) have been updated to force the tag numbers to be migrated in UPPERCASE.
Corrected the Book Value report's exclude parameter to properly generate the report using the value entered by the user.
Corrected the capitalization flag when an acquisition is added to an existing item. The capitalization should be recalculated if the acquisition changes the capitalization status for the item.
Cleaned up the "Pull From USAS" error messages to make them more user friendly.
If a pull is attempted without a starting date, user will see "Date Cannot Be Blank".
