USAS-R v8.22.0 Release Notes

Summary

We have made some additional improvements to USAS-R with the release of version 8.22.0.  This release contains exciting new features, improvements and bug fixes as detailed in the release notes below.

1. Created xDoc reports to produce information needed by the auditors when performing the SOC1 audits.  These new reports will show the details of the Authentication and Password Requirement Configuration as well as the Default Breakin Detection and Evasion rule.  These reports will not be runnable with this release.  On the 8.23.0 release we will create a new report bundle which will generate these reports and the SSDT User Listing and send a copy of them to the Fiscal Year archive.

2. Updated the PO amend option to allow users to select the cancel date when cancelling PO items.  Note, the cancel date must be after the PO date and must adhere to existing posting period rules (the posting period associated with the cancel date must be open).  

3. Corrected a bug with the Vendor New Hire Report parameters displaying on the report options page.  The reported date parameter is used to determine the calendar year the report is to be run for.  The date entered in this parameter was not properly being displayed on the report options page.

4. Created a Service Layer for Distributions.

Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and classic USAS.
