Bug Fixes

• Corrected the third prior year (FY21) line 7.010 on the Five Year Forecast to accurately show the total of all accounts marked to be included As General instead of the first account found.  This screenshot shows the bug which has been corrected.

Improvements

• Updated the Pending Transaction to allow users to assign a PO number.  The auto assign feature is available for users who don't want to assign a specific number.

• Corrected an issue with the SERS Per Pay Report that could cause Severe Error - 'Cannot access first() element from an empty List.'  This issue was caused when Adjustments for the Total Gross and/or Applicable Gross were added to force the employee to appear on the report who were not paid. 

• Corrected an issue problem with the SERS Per Pay Report for employees with multiple Earn Codes on the report.  When the Adjustment file was created these employees included an extra day. 

  • Outstanding SERS Per Pay issues:

    • USPSR-5877 - Does not break out employer pickup correctly when employee is included with both regular and pickup up. (7.5.0)

    • USPSR-5920 - Calculates incorrect days/hours when negative error adjustment is included. (7.5.0)

    • USPSR-5965 - Counting amount withheld adjustments twice in specific situation. (7.5.0) 

    • USPSR-6755 - Does not exclude non taxable reimbursements. (7.5.0)

• Enhanced the SSDT Employee Birthday Reports so the report will correctly generate if a building code is entered.  Only one building code can be entered at a time. 

• When other W2 Report enhancements were made, the sort (last name, first name, middle name) was inadvertently removed.  The sort has been reapplied. 

• Fixed an issue with Employee Onboarding that would result in an error when attempting to view records.

• Corrected validations for Federal tax item and Retirement items when using a Start Date (equaling the pay date) during payroll initialization.  Going forward, if the Start Date is the same as the pay date no error will be produced.

Improvements

• The STRS state minimum salary has been increased from $30,000 to $35,000 - effective 10/3/2023.

• The Ohio State tax tables were updated - effective 11/1/2023.

• A new option was added to Core>Payroll Item Configuration called 'Add Gross To Payable Reports.'  This is what controls whether the Payables Detail Report include/exclude Gross amounts. 

• The Convert Personal Leave to Sick and Convert Personal Leave to Pay options will now exclude Archived Positions and Compensations.

• Updated the access to the Reports>Payment Transaction Status Report so Standard Read Only users have access.

• Links to the documentation from the Help menu have been updated to the newly migrated cloud based pages.  Includes the Documentation and the Public USPS Reports Library. The Help links in application were updated to use new Wiki pages.

• Improved styling on the Payroll Leave Report.

• System>Import: Updated the Item importer to allow transfer to be created for items that contain a blank fund, function or asset class. 

• System>Import: Corrected the Disposition importer to prevent errors when the amount received field is blank.

• System>User: Corrected the expiration date on the Admin account to extend to 90 days when the admin password is changed.

• Transactions>Items: Corrected the location code sorting and filtering on the Item grid.

• Reports> GAAP Reports> Corrected the Schedule of Change in Fixed Assets and Schedule of Change in Depreciation detail reports to prevent an error when a fund has a null fund type.  These funds will display in the "Undetermined" section of the report if the fund type is not specified.

• Export Grid Items (CSV option): Corrected the handling of commas, quotes and leading zeros in CSV files (i.e. if a comma in serial number, it moved data after comma to the next column)

• Help>About: SSDT Wiki and user Documentation links available from the Help menu have been updated to the newly migrated wiki pages.

• Transactions>Items: Split Item entry has been improved.
