Summary
This release of USAS-R contains bug fixes and improvements as detailed in the release notes below.  Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release. There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes. General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation. There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and Classic USAS.Â
Important Highlights
Bug Fixes
Removed the restriction that requires all posting periods to exist and be closed in order to close the fiscal period and properly calculate next year's balances.
Improvements
Account Filters
the ability to mass grant or revoke access to the accounts in the filter has been implemented
performance improvements of 80% were made to the saving and editing of the account filter
Account Status report was updated to include Budget and Revenue adjustments.
A mass change definition was added to USAS to allow the mass enabling of the external authentication flag on the user. Â
Certification reports were updated to remove the fiscal year selection. The reports will now only run for the fiscal year associated with the current posting period.
New revenue summary reports were created to include NYP (Next Year Proposed) amounts to assist with the budgeting process.
The ability to access an attachment once a requisition has been converted is now available. Users can now view or download the attachment after the requisition has been converted.
WorkflowsÂ
Chains and groups are now controlled with separate permissions.
The DO NOT INSTALL warning in the Workflow Module description has been removed.
The group chain has been added to the submit note in the requisition audit trail.
The workflow menu is no longer visible if there are no available menu options.
Note: Please be aware, the patch to update the fund type on all 200 funds has been delayed. We need to release the Classic and Redesign changes simultaneously to prevent import problems. We anticipate releasing these updates with the 8.31.0 release in early October.
