Employee Profile
The employee record in the USPS application contains the biographical data of an employee. The Employee Profile in ESS will automatically pull the employee record data from USPS. The details are broken into separate tabs for easier viewing.

Create New Data Change Request
If configured for the district, the ‘Create New Data Change Request’ option will be displayed in the upper right corner of the screen. If any personal information displayed in your Employee Profile is incorrect, click 'Create New Data Change Request’. The Employee Profile screen will become editable allowing the updated information to be entered in the shaded grey fields (i.e. Name, Gender, Date of Birth, etc).
Once all updates to the Employee Profile are complete, click ‘Submit Data Change Request.’ The user will receive a pop-up confirmation box indicating that the Data Change was created successfully.
If a User attempts to submit a new Data Change Request before the existing one has been approved, the system will prompt the user to update the existing Data Change Request. A pop-up Alert will be displayed notifying the user of this action.
The Data Change request will be forwarded to a staff member with the Data Change Manager role. The Data Change Manager will receive an in-app notification in the upper-right corner of the ESS application. By clicking on the blue link (A Data Change has been Requested by Susan Dean) the Data Change Manager will be directed to the Data Change Management grid to approve or reject the requested changes. Upon approval, the data change updates will be posted to USPS.

Configure Employee Profile
Users with the Administrator role can configure the data that is displayed on the User’s Employee Profile screen. Please refer to Configuration>Employee Profile Configuration for more information on how to display/hide various sections of the Employee Profile screen.
