Position Details

The position record in USPS contains the employee's position information. The Position Details record in ESS automatically pulls some of the position data from USPS and also provides an abbreviated view of the employee’s contract information. NOTE: The positions displayed in ESS depend on the System>Configuration>Job Status Configuration selections. For example, if the Job Status Configuration includes both active and inactive job statuses, the employee’s active and inactive positions will be displayed in the Position Details window. If multiple positions are displayed, you may click the > icon to the left of each position to toggle the display of that position’s details.

Configure Position Details

Users with the Leave Manager or Administrator role can configure the data displayed on a user’s Position Details screen. Please refer to Configuration>Position Details Configuration for more information on displaying or hiding fields on the Position Details screen.
