Leave Information
Leave Information contains an employee’s accumulated and used leave for each available leave type. This is a view-only grid.
Leave Information contains three tabs:
Leave Balances: Provides a summary view of the employee’s available leave types and their current leave balances stored in USPS>Core>Leaves, along with Pending balances.
Absences: Provides a detailed activity on the employee’s leave that has been recorded in USPS. It will exclude leave that has not been posted to USPS.
Accumulations: Provides detailed activity on the employee’s accumulated leave that has been recorded in USPS.
Using the filter row in the Absences and Accumulations tabs allows an employee to narrow and refine results based on specific criteria.
Leave Balances
The information displayed in the Leave Information option is coming directly from the employee’s current leave data in USPS.
Displays a summary view of the employee’s available leave types and current leave balances stored in USPS' Core leave information. If the district has enabled the option under System > Configuration >Leave Balance Details Configuration to Show Pending Balance, this column will also be displayed.
Balance - The current leave balance stored in USPS. This balance does not include any ESS In-progress or approved leave requests since these have not been approved, exported, or posted to USPS.
Pending Balance - If the Leave Balance Details Configuration is configured to Show Pending Balance, any leave requests that have a status of Initiated, In-progress or approved will be considered in this balance.
For example, the Balance below for SICK = 94.25. A leave request for .50 day has an Initiated status and another leave request for .25 day has an Approved Status so the Pending Balance = 93.50.
Absences
Displays detailed activity for the employee’s leave absences as recorded and stored in USPS.
Accumulations
Displays detailed activity on the employee’s accumulated leave as entered and recorded in USPS.

Leave Balance Details Configuration
Users with the Admin or District Manager role may configure what is displayed under an employee’s Leave Information via System>Configuration>Leave Balance Details Configuration.
