SSDT Direct - we are hitting the road… again!
Back by popular demand, SSDT is once again conducting SSDT Direct sessions this October! The SSDT support team is excited to go 'on the road' this fall providing an opportunity to touch-base with district staff who are using state software! With assistance from ITCs, we have developed an agenda based on current USAS and USPS software needs of their districts. A special thank you to the ITCs who have provided a location for us to conduct our sessions! Registration is required to attend one of the in-person sessions (listed below)! Our team will be at each location for the day covering USAS-related topics in the morning session and USPS-related topics in the afternoon session. When registering, you will be able to select the session you would like to attend. If you manage accounts payable at your district, you may choose to attend just the USAS morning session. If you process the payroll for your district, you may select the afternoon USPS session only. If you are the Treasurer or use both software applications, you may benefit from attending the entire day. Topics to be covered as well as how to register for a session is provided here. Session locations are open to any district, but space is limited so we encourage early registration!
If you aren’t able to attend one of our fall sessions, no worries, we will be hitting the road again in the spring of 2025!
2024 OEDSA Conference - see you there!
SSDT will be presenting once again at the annual OEDSA (Ohio Education Data Systems Association) conference September 11th -13th at the Hilton Polaris in Columbus. OEDSA has always provided a full fiscal-related track at their conference that greatly benefits school treasurers and their staff as well as ITC fiscal support staff. SSDT appreciates the opportunity to present, giving us the chance to connect with our end-users. The following SSDT sessions will be presented at this year's conference:
Employee Self Service: A live demonstration of the Employee Self Service application including a deeper dive into roles, groups/group chains, leave requests, etc., that is intended to increase your knowledge and improve your comfort level with the new application.
ESS Timesheets: SSDT will demonstrate the most recent addition to the ESS application - Timesheets!
Let's Talk About Those Payroll USAS Integration Options - With Special Focus on Employer Distribution and Employer Retirement Share: We will step through the various submission options from a payroll perspective and take a deeper dive into the employer distribution and employer retirement share processes.
USAS Pending Transactions and Account Change: Let’s pick up where the conversation left off in the Payroll USAS Integration session by focusing on pending transactions that can come from USPS, including the process of validating, posting or rejecting them in USAS, as well as a review of the Account Change process in USAS and how it may affect USPS.
For more details on SSDT sessions and other fiscal related sessions that will be offered at OEDSA, as well as how to register for the conference, please access their website and click on 'View Details' for the conference agenda and 'Register' to sign up for the conference. Registration closes September 4th. SSDT hopes to see you there!
